Mr. Bai Deyuan，President of Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlaid Co., Ltd.
　　Mr. Bai Deyuan joined Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlaid Factory at the age of 15 .He took Wang Zhen as his teacher, who is one of China’s most famous experts in terms of producing lacquer ware and is the fourth generation disciple of the Imperial Palace’s workshop of Qing Dynasty.
　　Mr. Bai Deyuan devoted himself to studying and exploring the history of craftsmanship, styles, and cultural connotation of national traditional lacquer art and classical furniture for many years. Based on his rich experience and personal records about techolonogy, Mr. Bai Deyuan and Master Wang Zhen recovered national traditional lacquer craft of “Four Fissure Methods”, namely, shaking, burning, baking, and chiseling and successfully developed fissure craft by carving and filling craft, which fill one gap of lacquer art.
　　At present, Mr. Bai Deyuan assumed a lot of posts, such as vice chairman of China Arts and Crafts Association, director of the lacquer ware committee of China Arts and Crafts Association, vice chairman of lacquer ware committee of China Arts and Crafts Society, Beijing Arts and Crafts Trade Association, Beijing Interior Decoration Association and China Potted Landscape Artists Association as well as representative heir of national intangible cultural heritage-gold lacquer and inlay craft. As a first level master of arts and crafts, he is the president of Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlaid Co., Ltd.
